A little bit professional
A little bit personal

I am a Portland, Oregon transplant by way of Los Angeles and originally, St. Louis. I began my advertising career in LA working at an entertainment marketing agency. Which means this mid-west native found herself on a lot of film sets, at movie premieres, and fashion shows that she had no business being at.

After moving up to Oregon, I went to the University of Oregon and received my MBA in Sports Marketing. I had ambitions of working brand-side at one of the many athletic-apparel brands in Portland after graduating, but I ended up moving abroad and working freelance instead. One of my clients eventually hired me full time, and I enjoyed working for a Canadian agency, at their German-based office, with co-workers from 7 different countries for two years.

After 3 years in Europe, we moved back to Portland where I joined the fine folks at Swift for over 4 years. During that time I worked on Starbucks, Gatorade, Pandora, adidas, and a handful of other clients.

I made the jump to the brand side in 2019 after the birth of my first child. I led all marketing efforts at an outdoor startup called Rumpl. I joke that I received my second MBA over the course of those 4 years.

In 2022, I decided to re-enter the freelance market where I’ve been partnering with great agencies, teams, and brands ever since. I love freelancing because I get to work with so many talented people and get to dig into big, meaty projects and problems.

When I’m not working I love to garden, cook, travel, and spend time with my family. I live in NE Portland with my husband of 12 (and counting) years and two kids.
